Crazy enough to head out to stores on Black Friday? These apps will help you wade through the mess!

Coupon Roundup

Need some deals? Check out these two apps:

1. Coupon Sherpa
2. Coupon Cabin
3. Retailmenot

Trust me when I say that these are so not the same app. Use all three to really get the best deals - I'm partial to Retailmenot.

Comparison Apps

Sometimes a Black Friday deal isn't really the best deal out there (how dare they make this untrue claim?!). When that happens, you'll want these apps on your side:

1. ShopSavvy
2. Amazon PriceCheck
3. PriceGrabber

Just enter the name of the item you're about to buy, compare prices, and then put that item back on the shelf (or not).

Loyalty Apps

Got a Starbucks card or another kind of loyalty app? Make sure to have these apps front and center when you shop. When you enter a store for a much needed break on Black Friday, some stores will pick up on your presence. When that happens, you will be alerted to deals that are going on in-store.

Can you say free peppermint mocha latte, anyone? Or, how about something discounted at your favorite cafe? Make sure to look!

Another Option: Socialize

Who says that you shop alone when you shop alone? If you have your phone with you, you are never alone! Set up a Facebook friend group to grab and the best deals, and let each other know where to find those steals. You can also always use Twitter with the #blackfriday tag. But, is it even worth going out in all of that chaos to buy something on Black Friday?

Are Black Friday Deals Worth It?

Here you'll have to use your discretion. If you use apps, coupons, and really compare deals, you can get some amazing steals. However, you do have to realize that you'll be fighting major crowds and banging heads with lots of angry shoppers trying to make it a mad dash.

Since many of you will be hitting up your local Best Buy on Friday, here are the deals you'll want to check out:

iPad Air: $449
Kindle Fire HD: $99
Microsoft Surface RT: $199
PlayStation 3 Bundle: $199
MacBook Pro 13-inch: $1099
Nikon D7000 with 18-140mm lens:$799.99

Do check your local store offerings before you go, and you'll find out whether or not you can get these deals in-store or not. These deals will save you a few bucks, for the most part, but I'm not sure I'd navigate the crazy shopping waters to grab one of these devices! Then again, that's entirely your choice - if you do go shopping on Black Friday, make sure to download the apps listed above before you go - and take advantage of the good deals that you'll get.
