Just when you thought the MacBook Pro couldn’t get any better, Apple has introduced some nifty upgrades for the popular systems. Apple has made a few adjustments to the 13, 15, and 17-inch MacBook Pros. Thankfully, the price of the new MacBook Pros has not risen, so consumers can look forward to all new systems without a price hike. While the upgrades that Apple has given to these Pros are not amazing, they are upgrades worth of note.

Namely, the new Pros have faster processors and bigger hard drives. If you’re in the market for a new MacBook Pro (or someone on your holiday shopping list is), now’s a great time to visit an Apple store near you. As with any other device, I recommend that you test out the new Pros before purchase, but you won’t be disappointed with what Apple has done to improve the MacBook Pro line.

First, the 13-Inch

At $1499, the 13-inch MacBook Pro now has a 320GB hard drive (upgraded from a 500GB hard drive). The 13-inch Pro also comes with a 2.86GHz processor. An entry-level price will gain you an i5 CPU while the more expensive version comes with an i7 processor. That’s about all that Apple has done to the 13-inch MacBook Pro – nothing too drastic, but enough for most people to consider an upgrade.

Then, the 15-Inch

If a 15-inch MacBook Pro is on your mind, you’ll find that the new graphics card (an AMD Radeon HD 6750M card) makes a world of difference. This Pro also comes with an i7 processor running at 2.2 GHz. For around $1799, the MacBook Pro 15-inch can be yours. Again, not much of a difference, but a faster processor and a great graphics card is something to look forward to, and you can’t really beat the price of this well-equipped machine.

Lastly, the 17-Inch

For those looking for the largest MacBoo Pro available the new 17-inch will set you back nearly $2500. This newest offering from Apple comes with a 2.4 GHz processor and an AMD Radeon HD 6770M video card. The style and size of the 17-inch MacBook Pro remain unchanged – just as most consumers would want it to be.

Availability

Apple is no stranger to perfect timing. The new MacBook Pros will be available just in time for the holiday season. If you purchased your last MacBook Pro thirty days ago, visit the closest Apple store to find out if you can trade up. In most cases, Apple offers consumers a recycling program that includes trading in an old MacBook Pro for a new one.

Of course, you must have purchased your old MacBook Pro less than thirty days ago. Otherwise, you will have to pay the full price for a new MacBook Pro, but this price may be well worth it. The changes that Apple has made may seem small, but a faster, stronger, more capable MacBook Pro that’s priced the same as the older versions is something worth looking into.
