After looking for the right pair of sports headphones for many months, I was finally given a pair of JayBird X2 headphones. From the start, I was impressed by these headphones based solely on the packaging alone (Apple could actually learn from this company’s marketing team!).
From there, these headphones just got better and better. If you’re looking for some headphones to wear to the gym, to run with, to jump with, or just to listen to music with, these are definitely worth your attention.
The JayBird X2 headphones were designed for active people. These headphones are sweatproof and waterproof and can withstand all kinds of activities from CrossFit to skiing. Connected via BlueTooth, there are no wires to get in your way, so you can move freely, and unlike most wireless headphones, these actually sound great and have great connectivity.
There are a few colors to choose from, which is always nice, but the best part about the JayBird X2 design is that these headphones come with two sets of earbuds. You’ll get the usual foam options in small, medium, and large to fit your ears perfectly, but you’ll also get a complete set of silicone headphones just in case you don’t love foam. The foam earbuds can be formed to fit exactly inside of your ears for that super snug fit.
You will also get a set of clips to hold the headphone cords in place behind your head (so you don’t have any kind of overhang), and wings that can be attached to each earbud for an extra secure fit (those come in small, medium, and large as well).
As mentioned, the JayBird X2 headphones come with small, medium, and large silicone and foam earbud options. In order to find the right fit, I recommend trying the ones that seem to fit the best while in action - go ahead and jump around, and you’ll quickly see whether or not those buds really fit your ears.
Once you do find the buds that are right for you, it’s hard to get them to fall out of your ears. If you want a more secure fit, place the headphone wire behind your neck and loop the wires over your ears. You can also go to JayBird’s website to see complete videos on how to do everything from open the package to fit the buds to your ears. You’ll also get a handy little rubber carrying case that’s kind of fun to open and shut.
Great headphones that look amazing aren’t anything special without excellent sound. This is where the JayBird X2 headphones excel. The sound coming from these headphones is clear - even though they are wireless. It’s also simple to use the volume controls and to pair the headphones with your BlueTooth device.
I can’t say enough great things about these headphones, so they are definitely something you’ll want to check out if you’re looking to buy a gift or just get yourself some headphones that will make any workout session better.
